There are several reports of people whom have successfully used home treatments and home remedies in order to successfully whiten their teeth by staining. Sadly to say, some are safer than others.
Lisa Ann, a woman who suffered from inability to smile because of her ugly teeth has swept the internet overnight almost as a celebrity because of her blog and website. In it, she describes how she got teeth whitening fast in her own way.
The method of teeth whitening she used to get fast results is actually the very same thing dentists use in their office. The amazing thing is she got it at half the price.
The thing is, however, did it work? From her pictures, it surely seems like it did. She has a beautiful, white smile. Sadly, there's no before pictures of her teeth, but she does have a picture of how clearly unhappy she was before she found her method for teeth whitening fast.

The Causes of Teeth Stains
A recent AOL Health Article explains that medicine, such as certain antibiotics, excessive fluoride, genetics and aging, dental damage and "dark drinks" (think coffee and cola) are the main causes for stains of teeth.
There are two main types of staining on teeth, one is plaque, and the other is when the actual tooth itself is stained.
Plaque, the bacteria that accumulates on your teeth and which you brush to get rid of, can cause a discoloration of the teeth when it forms. If left for a long time, it can eventually cause stains in the actual dentin of the teeth due to the acidic byproducts the bacteria produces.
When your teeth are intrinsically stained, meaning the soft inner layer of dentin is stained, this causes teeth to become another color permanently. This same effect is what happens in the entire teeth whitening process. Your teeth are stained intrinsically in order to produce a desired shade or color.
If your teeth are the desired color which you want them now, you can simply brush your teeth and ward most of the harmful effects of plaque and staining away. If you're still worried, stop drinking and using the aforementioned articles that could stain your teeth.

Teeth Whitening Research
Okay! I'm starting this as a research blog of sorts. I want to research and determine whether or not it is possible to get teeth whitening fast.
To do this, I will need to determine the following things:
- What causes the need for teeth whitening? (Fast is not applicable in this situation.)
- Are there any empirical results that show teeth whitening fast is possible? If not, are there verifiable sources I can use that support this claim?
- Likewise for a case denying the power of "teeth whitening fast."
- And finally, what "works"?
In my next blog post, I will examine what makes teeth whitening needed, or in other words, I will examine what causes teeth to look ugly and discolored.
